Google Stadia Will Finally Arrive on November 19

Google has confirmed that Google Stadia will release on November 19, 2019.

While Google Stadia has had a November release window since June, a firm release date was never given. That finally changed today though, as Google’s Phil Harrison revealed at an event that Google Stadia will be arriving on November 19, 2019. A new video for the platform was also released, and you can watch it below:

Google unveiled its cloud-based gaming platform at GDC in March. The company seems to be going all-in on this project, integrating it heavily with other departments of Google, like YouTube. Since March, Google has held two Stadia Connects to highlight all of the games that are coming to the platform. So far, the only major exclusives it has are Gylt, Get Packed!, and Orcs Must Die! 3, though that last one will only be exclusive for a limited time.

Rockstar previously stated that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be available on Google Stadia at launch, so we can expect that port to arrive on November 19 as well. Google Stadia will be releasing in a pretty packed month, with Pokemon Sword and Shield and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releasing the week before. Google Stadia will now come out the same day as Shenmue 3.
