Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights have recently been listed on GameStop Italy for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S under the price tag of €75 which is a little bit higher than the usual price for video games in Europe.

The speculation on a possible increase in the price of the next-gen video games was already around the industry even before we got to know about the new pair of consoles coming from Sony and Microsoft. The first company to officially hike the price up for its next-gen titles was Take-Two's 2K Games that listed NBA 2K21 for $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The policy then followed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, when they officially revealed that all their AAA first-party games will be sold for $69.99, including the launch titles such as Demon's Souls. In the near future, more publishers will probably join the two above, but it seems we already found another one of them: Warner Bros. Interactive.

The publisher behind Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has apparently decided to have an increase in the value of its next-gen games as GameStop Italy has listed both games for €75. It's still lower than Sony's €80 price tag for Demon's Souls, but it will probably turn into $69.99 when it comes to the US markets.

Revealed later in August during Warner's DC FanDome event, Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are the next DC Comics-inspired games coming from WB Montreal and Rocksteady, respectively. Both games will be featuring co-op and online gameplay elements while allowing you to have a fully single-player experience. Gotham Knights targets a 2021 release date and will be available on both current-gen and next-gen platforms while Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be out sometime in 2022 only for next-gen consoles and PC.
