Gran Turismo Sport Trailer Shows How Close the Game Is to Reality

A new Gran Turismo Sport trailer has GT Academy Veterans and professional Nissan GT Sport Motul Team RJN drivers explain how realistic it is.

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment released a new trailer of Polyphony Digital’s racing game Gran Turismo Sport.

The trailer features the Nissan GT Sport Motul Team RJN that competes in the Blancpain GT series and includes several drivers who came out of the GT Academy initiative.

We hear how they used Gran Turismo Sport to prepare for the race on the challenging and classic Monza circuit (which happens to be just a few miles from my home), and how close the simulator is to the real thing.

Did I mention how much I love the GTR in Motul’s red livery? It brings back fond memories of Super GT.

You can enjoy the video below. If you want to learn more about the game, you can check out the most recent update that added more content to the game, and the recently-introduced ability to purchase cars on the PlayStation Store.

Gran Turismo Sport is currently available exclusively for PS4. If you’re interested, you can grab a copy on Amazon. A few weeks ago, we learned that the game passed five million players worldwide.
