Right after update 1.08 of Gran Turismo for PS4 and PS5, it was almost impossible for players to log into the game. This was all caused due to a major network issue and to address that, here is the Gran Turismo update 1.08 patch notes. 

In the past update, which was supposed to bring major changes in the game in terms of balance and bugs made the game unusable. With tons of requests from the players' community, developers were swift enough to roll out a fix through the latest update 1.08.

  •  Fixed an issue wherein the lineup of cars would not appear in the Used Cars and Legend Cars dealerships;
  • Fixed an issue wherein in some cases the game would not progress to the World Map, making it impossible to play.

The above are the two fixes that were urgently required to keep the game running. Initially, the server was supposed to go under maintenance but due to the error, it was extended and the same was notified in the official Twitter handle of Gran Turismo. 

The tweet said: Due to an issue found in Update 1.07, we will be extending the Server Maintenance period. We will notify everyone as soon as possible when this is likely to be completed. We apologize for this inconvenience and ask for your patience while we work to resolve the issue.

However, there is no current notification from the official team of the game regarding the current patch update 1.08. We will be updating the article as soon as there is an official announcement for it.

On top of that, Kazunori Yamauchi, the founder of the Gran Turismo series has given a detailed explanation of the server errors in form of a letter on the official Gran Turismo site. Players can now enjoy and continue the grind as the game is back online.
