Granblue Fantasy's Holiday Event Is Crazy (and a Bit Random)

Cygames just implemented a pretty crazy holiday event on Granblue Fantasy, making this the best time to check the game out.

Cygames’ Granblue Fantasy is probably one of the best mobile JRPGs out there, and its new Holidays event is something else as well.

The primary treat is a daily roulette that will give you from 10 to 100 free draws (or more precisely from 1 to 10 free premium draws with ten draws each). Even having one free premium draw a day would be great, but the chance to have a lot more for two weeks is crazy. I got two yesterday and seven today, and for those nine draws you’d normally pay about $238. And there are thirteen days left.

It is pretty random, but given the odds, it’s very, very sweet.

On top of this, we get 200 gemstones a day as a login bonus, both rank points and experience points earned are multiplied by 1.5, while AP and EP consumption is halved. There are a few other goodies and bonuses, but this is pretty much the gist of it.

The event will last until January 4th, so if you are interested in trying out the game with a massive starting advantage, this is pretty much the best time.

Unfortunately, Granblue Fantasy is not officially available in the west, but it’s fully localized in English (yeah, it’s a bit weird). Yet, it’s pretty easy to grab the game and play on mobile or on Google Chrome. You can learn how in our handy dedicated guide.

Granblue Fantasy is currently available for iOS, Android and as a Google Chrome app. A PS4 JRPG titled Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link is also in development, but information has been rather sparse.
