During the livestream of the Granblue Fantasy Summer Festival currently being hosted in Osaka, Japan, Cygames revealed when we'll hear more about Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link.

According to the developers, more information about the game (including the official title) will be shared at the Cygames Fes even, which will be hosted at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo, on December 15th and December 16th.

If you're unfamiliar with Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link it's a console action-JRPG for the moment announced only for PS4 and developed in collaboration with PlatinumGames. It belongs to the same franchise as Cygames' super-popular mobile JRPG Granblue Fantasy, even if it's unknown for now whether it will follow the same storyline or not. We do know that it will feature part of the mobile game's cast like Katalina, Io, Rackham, and Percival.

If you don't know why you should be excited about the game (and boy, you should), you can check out the spectacular gameplay that Cygames shared earlier this year.

It was originally announced for 2018, but the project apparently proved to be bigger than initially expected. Given the timing of the upcoming reveal, it's pretty obvious that it won't come this year.

On top of Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link Cygames has another super-secret project in store titled Project Awakening, of which we saw a tease at E3 2018.
