Today Tokyo-based developer Cygames launched a brand new series of summer events in its popular mobile game Granblue Fantasy.

The event kicks off with a lovely Yukata-themed (for those unfamiliar, a Yukata is a Japanese summer garment similar to a Kimono but much simpler and lighter) commercial.

Each day until Monday, August 13th, players will be able to partake in a 10-draw gacha for free. On top of that, each draw will also provide one among several in-game and real-prizes. Of course, only Japanese residents are eligible to claim prizes in the real world. The funny commercials at the bottom of the post are about this.

A daily login bonus of 200 crystals has also been enabled, alongside the usual discounts on AP and EP consumption and 1.5 bonus to RP and Exp gains.

A premium gala with doubled SSR rates accompanies the free draws until August 4th, and some new swimsuit characters are featured. You can check them out in the gallery alongside some of the Aqours members from Love Live! Sunshine which will appear in the upcoming crossover event.

The event “Bzzt! Amped-up Summer” has also begun, letting you grab a sexy SR Olivia in a bikini.

You can check out the assets below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a recent music video featuring Vira’s song “Another Sky and the previous bikini-themed summer commercial.
