Earlier today Granblue Fantasy, the mobile JRPG with music composed by Nobuo Uematsu, received a beautiful trailer. Now the studio has released an equally beautiful set of screenshots, which displays both the gameplay and artwork.

The conference that was held to discuss this new IP revealed some choice info and even featured live comments from viewers. We learned that Nobuo Uematsu composed the soundtrack with an Irish style folk music theme in mind. He used instruments such as fiddles and acoustic guitar to create the main theme, in order to keep to this concept.

The battle system has also been revealed, which involves a standard turn-based system with a command menu. By making use of the job class system and summoning the Star Crystal Beasts, battle strategies can be formed. Star Crystal Beasts are monsters that became mutilated due to the power of the Star Crystals. By subduing these beasts with the power of Luria Summon, you can use them to aid you on your journey. The job class allows the characters to change their class and garner new skills.

It was asserted many times during the conference that Granblue Fantasy is pushing the limits of the smartphone, in terms of graphics, voice acting and music. They also hinted at some social elements for the game, which makes sense since it is a mobile game.

Meanwhile you can look at the amazing screens in the gallery below.
