Cygames announced via the official Japanese Twitter account of Granblue Fantasy Versus that the game's sales have reached over 350,000 copies.

The announcement is accompanied by a very cute artwork of Djeeta princess carrying Lyria. If you pick up back your yuri googles, which are lying around in your attic now that the anime blog golden age is long over, you might or might not realize this shot was taken right after their wedding.

Granblue Fantasy Versus is the latest fighting game released developed by Arc System Works. The studio is also working on Guilty Gear Strive, which just had a Closed Beta a few days ago.

Granblue Fantasy Versus is available on PS4 and PC. You can read our review and our beginners' guide. Granblue Fantasy Versus will also receive a new Character Pass with 6 characters including Belial in Fall 2020.

Granblue Fantasy, not to be confused with the excellent comedy manga Grand Blue by Kenji Inoue and Kimitake Yoshioka, is still as popular as ever. The original gacha game celebrated its 6th anniversary in March 2020. Back then, Producer Yuito Kimura and Director Tetsuya Fukuhara chatted about how they'd like to make more Granblue games.  However, they stated they can't work on too many projects simultaneously and first need to finish PS4 action RPG Granblue Fantasy Relink. The game might get ports to other platforms like Stadia, PC and PS5 too once the PS4 version is done.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for news on Uma Musume.
