Today, Rockstar Games has dropped its most extensive update in Grand Theft Auto Online, since The Doomsday Heist back in early December. The latest update introduces the Southern San Andreas Super Sport Series.

According to the press release, this week marks first in a series of massive racing-theme updates in the coming months, which will be introducing a slew of new content into the game, free of charge. Some new material you can look forward to in the coming weeks includes new vehicles, Racing and Adversary Modes.

Circling back to what's new this week, the developer has dropped a new Racing Modes: Hotring Circuit. A mode that offers up to 30 players to duke it out on a race track and was designed specifically for one of the new vehicles, which was also introduced this week, the Declasse Hotring Sabre. An automobile that pays homage to the Vice City’s Hotring and fuses with the flashy stunts found in Grand Theft Auto Online as is now available in Legendary Motorsport. To commemorate the release of the new mode, Double GTA$ & RP will be offered to participants now until Monday, March 26.

Additionally, four new vehicles have also been added to Grand Theft Auto Online this week: Cheval Taipan, Overflod Entity XXR, Vapid GB200, and Vulcar Fagaloa. Two of the four new cars introduced the Overflod Entity XXR, and the Cheval Taipan are Supercars. While the Vulcar Fagaloa reimagines a station wagon and offers an abundance of customization options such as modifications to the interior and Vapid GB200 is a highly customizable sports car with a mid-engine four-wheel drive. Screenshots of all five vehicles will be provided below this article.

Finally, the developer has provided new information on content, which will drop in less than a month, with the next mode titled Target Mode launching April 3. In Target Mode, eight teams of 2 players against each other in a chaotic (and violent) race. The next big update will then launch on May 1 that will introduce ten unique new Special Vehicle Races featuring the Deluxo, Stromberg, and Thruster from The Doomsday Heist update. Finally, seven new Transform Races will be available on May 29 - featuring a fresh batch of vehicles and vehicles to sink your teeth into.
