Tomorrow marks a big day for fans of the multiplayer-centric Grand Theft Auto Online, as the long-awaited online Heist modes will finally be unleashed to legions of (very patient) players that have been waiting since the game’s release – be prepared though for some large updates coming your way.
Though the update is scheduled to hit tomorrow, 3/10, bringing Heists to the various editions of Grand Theft Auto V, users that have received the update early overnight have shown that the update sizes seem to vary, at least on the Xbox platforms.
In a screenshot posted by Twitter user S7_V7X3, an image from the Xbox One version shows the Heist update coming in at a hefty 4.8GB, while other reports have detailed the Xbox 360 version’s update coming in at a slightly-smaller (but still sizable) 1.2GB. Though the file sizes are big, it is expected given the updates are adding five online heist missions alongside plenty of new assets, including new weapons, vehicles, costumes/masks, and more for the game’s online experience, alongside nine new Achievements for the online Heist missions.
Grand Theft Auto V is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360, with the PC version set to release on April 14th, 2015 – online Heist missions will be coming to the game’s Grand Theft Auto Online tomorrow, March 10th, 2015.
