Grand Theft Auto V Will Possibly Be Announced for Stadia Soon, As Per Rumors

According to an unauthorized source, Stadia is the next platform to get Grand Theft Auto V in the future.

It seems Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games are preparing themselves to launch Grand Theft Auto V on yet another platform, which will possibly be Google’s Stadia.

Rockstar Mag, an unofficial source for Rockstar-related news, has recently claimed that a Stadia version of Grand Theft Auto V will be officially announced in the next few weeks/months. As per the source, the Stadia version of GTA V is set to be launched sometime close to the release of PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game. The account also shared a featured image which might be Stadia’s official wallpaper for the rumored announcement.

Regarding the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 on Stadia in the past, it might not be too surprising to see Rockstar bringing its best-selling title ever to Google’s platform as well. That said, there were some rumors recently pointing out that Take-Two wasn’t satisfied with the revenue coming from Stadia and it might never launch a new game for the streaming platform anytime soon.

Grand Theft Auto V is already available on last-gen and current-gen consoles along with PC. It will also hit the next-gen consoles in 2021. The only modern-day platforms that haven’t received GTA V yet, are Nintendo Switch and Stadia. While the former might never get GTA V because of its moderately low-spec hardware, the latter could be a nice deal between Google and Take-Two that would populate Stadia with more players than ever.

Rockstar Games has always premiered its new announcements with surprising tweets or trailers on social media, so we can’t tell when this rumor might turn to be true unless waiting for a new message from Rockstar Games to appear out of nowhere, though it might never happen and that’s why we suggest you take it with a grain of salt for the time being.
