Grand Theft Auto V’s iFruit App Now Available on the PlayStation Vita

Do you guys remember that smartphone app for Grand Theft Auto V? You know, the one that let you pimp out your rides and train Franklin’s faithful doggie companion, Chop? Well, it’s now available for the PlayStation Vita.

The app originally came out for iOS but eventually came out for Android devices and Windows phones. The app actually affected the main game. Aside from customizing cars, training Chop meant that he would be a more obedient dog and perform tricks and even find hidden items in the game.

I wasn’t a big fan of the app myself since I’m not a big fan of mobile games in general. I think I’ll check this out on the Vita though. Who knows? I may end up liking it. The timing of this is a bit odd seeing as how GTAV has been out for half a year already but I guess it’s better late than never.

You can download this app by visiting the PlayStation Network store from your Vita.
