Grandia HD Remaster News to Be Announced At E3

Grandia HD Remaster news will finally be revealed in a few days at E3.

News for the HD remasters of Grandia games will be revealed at E3, GungHo Online Entertainment America announced. Grandia HD Collection on Switch, which contains both HD Remasters of Grandia 1 and Grandia 2, and the PC HD Remasters of both games will be launched the same day. The date should probably be revealed at E3.

The PC versions will be sold separately on Steam. Moreover, the Grandia II Anniversary Edition, already available on Steam, will be replaced by the HD Remaster when it releases.

The Grandia HD Remasters were announced a way back now, but news about them has been scarce. The HD remasters have a revamped UI, sprites, and artwork. Both the English and the Japanese voiceovers will be included. The games will also include the original Japanese text, the original English translation, and new translations in French and German.

Grandia I and Grandia II are quite beloved and for good reason. Both games are great JRPGs. Grandia II, in particular, has one of the best turn-based battle systems I’ve ever seen. I’m quite eager to replay it again on Switch in portable mode.

We’re only a few days from E3 2019 now, and hopefully, we’ll finally get a release date.
