Granzella’s City Shrouded in Shadows Drops PS Vita to Become PS4 Exclusive; Releasing in Japan this Fall

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced today that City Shrouded in Shadows, in development at Granzella, will be released in Japan this fall.

This isn’t the only change for the game, that is dropping the initially announced PS Vita port, becoming a PS4 exclusive.

City Shrouded in Shadows is a science-fiction survival action adventure from the creators of the Disaster Report series. The player steps into the role of a normal citizen, not your usual hero, that has to survive in a city attacked by giant shadows. Among those threats are recognizable ones like Godzilla and Ultraman.

The press release also included a couple of screenshots that you can see above and below. I’m sure you’ll recognize the “shadows” portrayed.

It has been over a year since we heard about this game, and you can check out a batch of screenshots from back then, alongside a second, slightly older batch. You can also watch the first trailer here.
