Grave Danger, a side-scrolling co-op platformer previously available only on Steam, has announced an Ultimate Edition with added features and availability on both PC and current generation home consoles.

Grave Danger: The Ultimate Edition adds ten new levels with all-new mechanics including a rideable robotic bird. Of course, the most exciting part about it is that in addition to a Steam release, The Ultimate Edition will also release on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.

For those who haven't played Grave Danger yet, the game can be compared to The Lost Vikings and can be played perfectly in single player or (preferably) co-op mode. As mentioned above, it's a side-scrolling platformer, but the world is traversed by three characters: Dante the cowboy, Elliot the Wizard, and Malice the reaper. They all have unique abilities that must be used to solve puzzles and progress.

In single-player, players can swap out characters to progress. But co-op allows up to three players to play at once -- given you have the friends and controllers to accommodate.

Grave Danger can be played right now on Steam; Grave Danger: The Ultimate Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Q3 2018. Check out the announcement trailer below.
