Perp Games and Refugium Games have announced that the two companies are teaming up to bring the alien survival-horror game Greyhill Incident to PS5, PS4, and "other consoles" sometime next year, and that announcement brings with it a new trailer for the game.

Greyhill Incident has already been announced for PC with developer Refugium Games taking on self-publishing duties via Steam. Perp Games has been brought on board to publish the game on PS5, PS4, and "other consoles," which are most likely the Xbox line of consoles and potentially the Nintendo Switch.

Unlike other survival horror games that rely on the done-to-death zombies and evil spirits, Greyhill Incident puts little grey men from outer space front and center in this narrative-driven alien invasion horror game. And, as you can see from the trailer below, it's definitely leaning into the classic depiction of the classic Grey aliens and their flying saucers, as well as some of the typically associated tropes, such as cows being fiddled with, an encounter in a corn field, and the small town folk insisting that the government is lying about its knowledge of aliens.

Greyhill Incident is set during the early 90s and players will take on the role of Ryan Baker, an everyday fella who gets caught up in an alien invasion in his hometown of Greyhill. Armed with a revolver, a baseball bat, and the will to survive and tell his story on 60 Minutes, he must survive the alien invasion while getting across town to save a neighbor. Players will have to fight the Greys along the way as well as solve puzzles and discover the truth behind the government conspiracy.

According to Aaron Roller, Director of Greyhill Incident at Refugium Games, the game takes inspiration from numerous sources, including reports of real-life close encounters of the third kind, as well as popular TV shows, movies, and books, such as The X-Files and Fire in the Sky. This is all evident from the trailer up above, which shows the classic Grey aliens terrorizing the community of Greyhill, as well as their flying saucers moving menacingly across the sky.

At the moment, Greyhill Incident does not have a firm release date, just a "2023 Q2" release window. Expect more sightings of Greyhill Incident in the months leading up to its release.
