Frontwing launched a KickStarter for the long awaited continuation of the Grisaia visual novel series, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger.

The campaign is seeking $80,000 to fund physical goods for fans of the series. The game is currently being translated by the developer's in house localization team with a planned release in the west on April 28. The first two volumes of the series will release on the same day and introduce a new cast of characters.

Additionally, there is a stretch goal of $110,000 for a physical version of the manga.

The developer details the campaign further:

There are two main goals we hope to accomplish with the Phantom Trigger Kickstarter campaign: first, to make an exclusive English physical (DVD-ROM) edition of the game available, including supplemental items such as an artbook, theme song EP CD, and more. If the goal is reached, we'll be able to produce these items, and they will be exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign. The second purpose of the campaign is to fund a translation of the Phantom Trigger manga adaptation, currently only planned for release in Japan. A digital copy of the localized manga will be included for all backers receiving the game!

Currently, the game has raised over $30,000 in the first few hours of launching. Recently, the developer introduced the new cast of characters with individual trailers.
