Despite the overall positive response towards the game from fans, Gran Turismo 7 players experienced disastrous days last weekend when the game servers completely went down after an extremely buggy update. Now, a week after that, PlayStation is offering compensation for all players!

Moreover, Polyphony Digital promised to re-establish the reward system balance with an upcoming update in April this year, when more new events will be available for players as well. However, for now, the developers offer 1 million credits for all players!

How to Get the GT7 Free Credits

All you need to do to get the 1 million free credits offered by Polyphony Digital is to log into the game once before April 25. According to the developer, the giveaway will begin from today, but if you don't log in until April 25, you will lose the free credits.

Regarding how the reward system changed after the recent update and made it even more difficult than before for players to earn in-game currency, Gran Turismo 7 players shouldn't miss this giveaway, though the main problem with the reward system is still there!

In addition to this compensation, Polyphony Digital summarized its plans for the upcoming update in April 2022. You can read through the upcoming changes down below:

  • Increase rewards in the events in the latter half of the World Circuits by approximately 100% on average.
  • Addition of high rewards for clearing the Circuit Experience in all Gold/All Bronze results.
  • Increase of rewards in Online Races.
  • Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings.
  • Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr.
  • Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time.

The exact release date of the next update is yet to be revealed. Aside from the above, there are some other fixes and improvements that the studio is working on:

  • Increase the payout value of limited time rewards as we develop as a live service.
  • Further World Circuit event additions.
  • Addition of Endurance Races to Missions including 24-hour races.
  • Ranking battles in Online Time Trials will be made more advantageous with rewards. earned based on achieving a time that is within +1%, +2%, +3%, and +5% of top time.
  • Make it so cars can be sold.
