GTA Online Brings in Over $60 Million In Microtransactions, According to Distributor Take-Two

In a recent interview, distributor Take-Two stated that GTA Online had had an overwhelmingly positive reception, with F2P transactions in particular making up a large bulk of Take-Two’s total digital revenue.
Recurrent consumer spending related to GTA Online represented nearly half of our digitally delivered revenue in the quarter.
In their Q3 earnings call, which took place earlier this month, Take-Two stated that they had made $132.8 million from digital sales alone. Halving this leaves us with the $66.4 million figure.
Non-GAAP net revenue from digitally-delivered content grew 42% year-over-year to $132.8 million, driven by the Grand Theft Auto series.
