Today, Rockstar Games has unveiled new information regarding Grand Theft Auto Online, which mainly revolves around a brand new heist that will be coming to players next week.

On Tuesday, December 12th, the successful multiplayer mode will receive a brand new heist called The Doomsday Heist. According to the press release, The Doomsday Heist's plot is centered around four different individuals - a billionaire tech tycoon, an impractical intelligence agent, a gawky conspiracy theorist, and an insane supercomputer that have been forced to team up to save San Andreas from being destroyed.

With hordes of apocalyptic adversaries gunning for you, you and your band of felonious teammates are tasked with unraveling the mysteries and exterminating the threats that are plaguing the streets of downtown Los Santos, down on the ocean floor, and all the way to the hidden pits of Mount Chiliad.

In other Grand Theft Auto Online news, last week the developer introduced a new tactical jet titled the P-996 Lazer. Additionally, from now until Monday, December 11th,  numerous in-game stores are offering 25% off select items. On top of that, players will also have the opportunity to acquire more GTA$ and RP in a slew of in-game modes.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now via Grand Theft Auto V on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. You can check out the new trailer for The Doomsday Heist below:
