Today, Rockstar Games has dropped its most extensive update to date for Grand Theft Auto Online, which mainly revolves around a brand new heist.

The Doomsday Heist‘s plot is centered around four different individuals – a billionaire tech tycoon, an impractical intelligence agent, a gawky conspiracy theorist, and an insane supercomputer that have been forced to team up to save San Andreas from being destroyed. With hordes of apocalyptic adversaries gunning for you, you and your band of felonious teammates are tasked with unraveling the mysteries and exterminating the threats that are plaguing the streets of downtown Los Santos, down on the ocean floor, and all the way to the hidden pits of Mount Chiliad.

According to the developer, the Doomsday Heist is divided up into three different chapters, which consists of various free mode preparation missions, tactical setup operations, innovative weapons, and vehicles. Each one of the bits features vast finishes that will make the challenges all the more rewarding.

To assist you in your quest, players have access to an extraordinary arsenal of new tools at your disposal. Such as the Mammoth Thruster, jetpack, which can provide access to tall buildings as well as a useful form of transportation. Additionally, the Doomsday Heist introduces brand-new clothes, upgrades for numerous weapons, and new vehicles. On top of that, eight new trophies have also been added.

Grand Theft Auto Online is available now via Grand Theft Auto V on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Check out a slew of screenshots for the new update below:
