That being said, it's not the end of the world for Grand Theft Auto fans, not until you have lots of talented modders out there. While Rockstar Games is looking forward to fixing the game gradually with continuous updates, modders are offering some tempting visual buffs that are hard to refuse.
GTA Trilogy HD Texture Pack Overhauls San Andreas
The HD Texture Pack below, which we should call "Almost 4K Texture Pack" has been created by "nigeez" and overhauls over 85 textures in GTA San Andreas The Definitive Edition. It either improves the quality of existing textures or replaces them with new ones.
This is probably the Definitive Edition that we all would like to receive from Rockstar Games instead of what they delivered in a rushed launch. According to the modder, over 90% of the textures are representing 4K resolution, though they might be reduced to HD in the next updates of the mod for optimizations purposes.
