GTFO Early Access Launch Date Confirmed, Arrives Next Week
10 Chambers Collective has announced that its upcoming co-op horror title GTFO will be launching next week on Steam Early Access.
10 Chambers Collective has confirmed the official launch date for the Early Access release of its upcoming first-person shooter. GTFO yesterday started a short 24-hour stint in an early access beta phase which started on December 3 and ends today.
GTFO is a co-op horror title that focuses on communication between four players who have to work together to get through levels littered with horrific looking monsters. The game is said to be a hardcore game and has been created by PAYDAY 2 veterans who moved over from Overkill Software and formed 10 Chambers Collective.
Players are sent into a dark underground complex against their will by an entity known as, “The Warden” to complete a series of expeditions. These missions are part of a Rundown which was detailed last month through a trailer. The Rundown is a timed selection of missions that grow harder in difficulty the further down the players go. When the timer runs out, all missions are erased and replaced with a new Rundown.
We got a chance to get hands-on with the game back in 2018 which you can read here. We’ll also have some coverage on the early access version of the game going live next week, so if you’re interested in knowing more about what we think, be sure to keep eyes peeled on the site.
GTFO will launch onto Steam Early Access next week on December 9 for $34.99 and is exclusively available for PC. The Steam page now lists the date of the launch, and DualShockers received further confirmation from 10 Chambers Collective.
