GTFO, the new co-op shooter from the creators of Payday, is set to release at some point later this spring. Ahead of that time though, the developers have today released a new video and screenshots to hold fans over until launch.

For starters, the video in question that was released today is that of a behind the scenes developer documentary. The video features many of the devs themselves from the team at 10 Chambers Collective talking about the process behind creating GTFO. There's also a decent amount of new, never-before-seen gameplay footage included throughout.

In addition, this video also features new details on GTFO itself, most notably dealing with the game's story. While the narrative and world building of GTFO won't take place wholly in a standard campaign mode, it'll instead be told through free content updates that arrive after launch.

As for the screenshots, they are less focused on combat situations that might arise in GTFO and instead are focused on showing off many of the different environments that you'll find yourself in while playing. There are ten new images in total each containing eerie, dimly lit corridors. I think one of my favorite aspects of GTFO after having played it last year at E3 was the environments. Each location has a unique personality to it and I think that the world design really goes hand-in-hand with the horror-centric vibe of the game quite well.

You can check out both the new developer documentary and screenshots attached below. GTFO is set to release later this spring exclusively for PC via Steam.
