A few weeks ago, Geoff Keighley announced that he would be bringing a new event to E3 this year that he is calling E3 Coliseum. This event will consist of panels, talks, and conversations regarding video games and culture that will take place over the course of June 13 and 14. Also promised were some very special guests, which as of today, we know who one of which will be.
James Gunn, writer and director of both Guardians of the Galaxy and its recently released sequel, will be giving a keynote at E3 Coliseum. He will be joined by other “leaders in the game industry” at the Novo Theater in Los Angeles. Geoff Keighley himself will almost certainly be present in some manner as well.
Not many other details were given about this event — the topic of discussion or what time it will be occurring — but these specifics will most likely be revealed as we get closer to June. Still, it’s pretty cool to see that Gunn will be at E3 talking to some of the brightest minds in the gaming industry.
For those of you who won’t be attending E3 2017, this and all of the other talks and presentations at E3 Coliseum will be streamed through Facebook Live. Keighley also promised that if you are watching live as the panels occur, you will be able to ask the guests questions through Facebook that they may read aloud on the stream. So prepare those questions in advance as E3 2017 is rapidly approaching.
