In case you couldn’t get enough¬†80’s retro-fueled action comedy, Episode Two of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is coming on June 6th.

The second installment, titled “Under Pressure,” will continue to play out the decisions players made in the first episode. Caroline Liddick, the Community Media Manager for Telltale Games, hinted that, similar to the latest film, Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 2, the Guardians will have stop and deal with their pasts:

“In ‘Under Pressure,’ the Guardians just can’t seem to outrun the past (or their tab), but if they figure out how to control the untold power of their mysterious new relic, they might not have to. With help from dubious old friends and unwilling new allies, Star-Lord and company scour the galaxy for answers. But how long can they elude the genocidal maniac hunting them? And will simmering tensions finally tear the team apart?”

Oh and she also let slip that players will be delving into Rocket Raccoon’s Past. Who knows how deep and dark that…¬†raccoon hole goes.

The first episode “Tangled Up in Blue,” found the Guardians fighting for the possession of the Eternity Forge, an ancient artifact that has the power to change the lives of the Guardians, and of their enemies that seek to use it for their nefarious ends. The game is, of course, accompanied by a great soundtrack as well as quick time events that lead to catchy one-liners.

I’ve always found the Telltale series to be perfect for getting your significant other or family member into gaming while also being witness to a good story line. Personally I’ve never seen my partner more excited than when Clementine’s life is on the line in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, “Under Pressure,” is due to be released on June 6 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and on iOS and Android devices. The season pass will run you $20, or you can purchase each episode individually for $5.
