We already know that Guerrilla Cambridge is working on a PS4 exclusive game belonging to a “high profile, multi-million selling franchise,” and today we learn a little more about how it’ll be made thanks to a new career opportunity ad seeking an animator for its “world-class art team working on PS4.”

The ad stresses considerably on the high quality of work required and on the ability to create “strong, dynamic key poses” and “a range of styles of animation from realistic to exaggerated.”

Interestingly, besides experiencewith Maya, which is pretty much par for the course for this kind of job, it also mentions the use of NaturalMotion’s Morpheme, which is an advanced animation middleware that recently added PS4 support to its features  and that has been used in quite a few games, including Ninja Theory’s Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and Irrational Games’ BioShock: Infinite.

If you’re curious on what it can do, you can check out Morpheme‘s trailer below:

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
