Guerrilla Games Hiring for Trailers: a Hint to a PlayStation Experience New Game Announcement?

on November 24, 2014 5:51 PM

Guerrilla Games has been definitely silent about its new PS4 game, which is rumored to be an open world RPG. Events like E3 and Gamescom have come and gone, and the expected announcement is yet to come.

The developer just posted a career opportunity ad seeking a Media Intern for Video Production that sounds quite promising.

Guerrilla is looking for a Media Intern to create compelling videos and broadcasts to promote our games. As the successful candidate, you will produce trailers, teasers and behind-the-scenes videos that showcase the quality of our titles. In addition, you will shoot interviews with our developers and help stream them to online video platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.TV.

Killzone: Shadow Fall has been out for quite a while, and the need for trailers, teasers and developer interviews is rather limited on that front. Basically the only thing that would justify the need for new hands to create promotional videos is the unveiling of a new game in the near future.

Incidentally, PlayStation Experience is less than two weeks away, and Guerrilla Games will be present. This could be easily read as a hint that they’re finally going to show off the new game, which would trigger the need for new teasers, trailers, behind-the-scenes videos and developer interviews.

It fits together quite nicely. Has the time finally come?
