Guerrilla Games Wants to Develop New Tools and Tech To Make Its Future PS4 Games Look Even Better

Guerrilla Games has been known for a while as an extremely solid competitor on the field of graphics, and many are waiting anxiously for the release of its upcoming PS4 game, which is rumored to be an open world RPG.

Yet, the developer doesn’t seem to be fully satisfied with its current level, and is hiring to improve its visual tools and tech, as revealed by a career opportunity ad seeking for a Senior Technical Artist or Senior Technical Director.

Do you have a passion for innovation and a flexible mindset? Guerrilla is looking for a Senior TD or Senior Technical Artist with a broad understanding of games and graphics technology, who will co-manage, advise on and participate in the technical art process. Tasks include developing new tools, techniques and processes for the Art teams, supporting other technical artists, and working alongside our tech team to integrate new technologies into our pipeline. You will be the first point of contact with other teams, working to identify needed improvements to our art production pipeline and then implement them.

Looks like Guerrilla doesn’t intend to rest on its graphical laurels, which were already definitely impressive with¬†Killzone: Shadow Fall. The question remains on whether we’ll finally see its new game debut this December at the PlayStation Experience in Vegas. Personally, I can’t wait.
