PQube is bundling two of Arc System Works' critically acclaimed entries in the Guilty Gear series; Guilty Gear and Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus R. Both titles will be included in one physical package for the Nintendo Switch. However, these titles will also be released digitally on PS4 and Switch. This is the only way to acquire them separately if you're interested in one over the other. You can check out the announcement trailer down below.

Guilty Gear debuted for the original PlayStation way back in 1998. The series has since gotten a slew of different sequels, and ultimately put Arc System Works on the map in the fighting game community. While it's not the studio's most popular title; it certainly has a legacy of its own. Also, the game features a very 90s 2D pixel art style that should look absolutely phenomenal on the Nintendo Switch's handheld screen.

On the other hand, Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus R is the 14th entry in the longrunning series. In this title, we really begin to see the 2D visuals Arc System Works is known for come to fruition. Accent Core Plus R is the culmination of everything the team had learned from previous entries.

Arc System Works has plenty of new things coming in 2019. Dragon Ball FighterZ will likely be getting an entirely new season of characters at the end of the month. Furthermore, the team is bringing their fighting game expertise to the Granblue series with Granblue Fantasy VersusSince the team has their hands on so many fantastic projects, this collection is a great way to check out their earlier stuff.

Guilty Gear 20th Anniversary Edition will launch sometime in 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
