Arc System Works made an announcement regarding the PC version of their fighting games, Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and Guilty Gear Isuka, released in July 2003 and June 2006, respectively.

The update follows the upsetting news from last year when both games were taken down from their digital shelves after the rights reverted back to the developer. During the time the publisher hoped it would only be temporary, but August 1, 2016 would be the last day both games would be purchasable via Steam.

This change originally didn't stop players who had already purchased the games from playing them, but for awhile it was disappointing to know that future PC players weren't able to journey back to play a personal favorite of mine, Guilty Gear X2 #Reload.

However, all's well that ends well, the publisher has fixed all issues with licensing and both games are available again for the Steam community. A happy ending for fighting game fans everywhere.
