Now available for both Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero are three songs from alternative-metal band Breaking Benjamin.  They're a Pennsylvania-based quartet that has produced critically acclaimed hits that are full of "cryptic, evocative lyrics", as the press release puts it.  I'm all for evocative, even though it sounds to me like I wouldn't like their music myself.  Down all you fanboys!  Down!  In addition to these new tracks, you'll be able to play Guitar Hero 5 with the band over Xbox Live on Febrary 20, so if that's something you'd like to hook up for, you might want to check this out for more information.

Here are the songs from this track pack, which is available right now:

  • "Sooner or Later" (from We Are Not Alone)
  • "Until the End" (from Phobia)
  • "Give Me a Sign" (from Dear Agony)

Standard pricing applies, but here's the run down again:

  • Individual Tracks: 160 Microsoft Points, $1.99 via the PlayStation Store, 200 Wii Points.
