Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare Annouced in the West, Coming Later this Summer
Announcement trailer and opening sequence for Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare, a mobile game based on the Gundam Breaker series.
Ahead of Anime Expo, Bandai Namco revealed Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare for iOS and Android. The game is brand new game inspired from the Gundam Breaker series and the first Gundam mobile game adaptation being brought to the west. The game was also announced today in Japan under the name Gundam Breaker Mobile.
Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare as its name suggests have players building their favorite and most powerful mobile suits using various Gundam plastic, or gunpla parts. Gunpla parts of Mobile Suits from multiple old and new Gundam series are present. The game also has a new AI system, which lets players let their GUnpla be controlled by a famous pilot of the franchise. Pilots are unlocked as you earn AI chips. The game also has a photo mode with social media link functions.
The battle system is similar to the Gundam Breaker and Gundam VS series, with easy to handle smartphone touchscreen controls. Gundam Battle: Gunpla Warfare also has an exclusive story themed around the themes of “gunpla x youth”. It has original mecha designs by Akiman and character design by Taiki.
