Gunvolt Confirmed to be a Guest Character In Blade Strangers

Nicalis, Inc. has recently confirmed that Inti Creates' youthful hero, Gunvolt is making an appearance in the upcoming 2D fighting title Blade Strangers.

Today, Nicalis, Inc announced new information for its 2D fighting title Blade Strangers. According to the developer, the upcoming title is adding guest character Gunvolt “The Azure Striker” to its roster of fighters.

This news comes from the Nicalis, Inc’s official Twitter account, which confirmed the character will be appearing in the game. The titular character, Gunvolt (‘GV’ for short) is the protagonist of Inti Creates’ action platformer series Azure Striker Gunvolt. With Gunvolt confirmed for the roster, this particular character is a unique addition to the game due to his light and agile movement making him a versatile player for the title.

Blade Strangers fast-paced old-school fighting and features a four-button control scheme, (you know, like the Neo-Geo arcade machines). Fighters included in Blade Strangers roster include characters who initially debuted in previous includes characters from previous Studio Saizensen titles, including Code of Princess and Sayonara Umihara Kawase. Other notable features in Blade Strangers include each character having their own home stage, as well as three alternate colors settings players can choose from.
