At Paris Games Week 2019, our comrades of Actu Gaming had an interview with Koei Tecmo Producer Keisuke Kikuchi, who is currently the producer of the Fairy Tail RPG developed by Gust.

At the end of the interview, Kikuchi was asked by Actu Gaming if a new Blue Reflection game is currently in development at Gust. Kikuchi answered: "I can't answer you in detail, but at the moment, we have four ongoing projects, including a new Atelier game".

The next Atelier game being in development is nothing surprising. Atelier Ryza's heroine will also appear in the next game in some way.

One Gust game I'd personally like to see is Nights of Azure 3. The first Nights of Azure had its share of problems but it was still a really good experience, whether you like yuri or not, with really good characters. However, Nights of Azure 2 was a massive disappointment in all areas. I strongly hope Gust will make a turnabout with a third episode.

Another possibility would be a new Blue Reflection game. The first one was one of the few non-Atelier, turn-based RPG Gust did these past few years, and it was globally well received.

As a slightly related note, Keisuke Kikuchi also recently mentioned he'd like to bring back the Project Zero/Fatal Frame franchise on Nintendo Switch.
