GWENT: The Witcher Card Game Gets New Cinematic and Gameplay Trailers to Accompany Open Beta Launch
CD Projekt Red's Witcher card game hits open beta today on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, accompanied by new gameplay and cinematic footage.
Today, developer CD Projekt Red released two new GWENT: The Witcher Card Game trailers to accompany the game’s public beta launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
The two new trailers consist of a cinematic trailer and a gameplay trailer, that showcase exactly what they suggest: gameplay and a cinematic look at the game.
For those that don’t know: GWENT‘s gameplay is based on the mechanics of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt‘s in-game dueling deck constructor, but obviously with more depth, polish, etc. The game will be free-to-play on the above mentioned platforms when it releases sometime later this year.
The public beta, which launches today, notably brings with it a blank slate, with card collections and player progress reset to ensure that all players start on equal footing.
