Today Bandai Namco released the first screenshots and a teaser trailer of the recently-announced .hack//G.U. remaster .hack//G.U. Last Recode .

The trailer is pretty quick, and together with the screenshots, it gives a glimpse on the remade visuals of the game. It will come  with several gameplay improvements (that you can read here) and 1080p rendering at 60 FPS, supporting display output up to 4K.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode will launch at a yet unknown date in Japan for PS4 and PC, even if it should be quite close considering that development of the remaster is 80% complete.

It will also basically be a collection, since it will include all three volumes Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption.

Lately we got hints that Bandai Namco might be intending to bring the game west, since the title has been trademarked both in Europe and in the United States.

If you want to see more, you can check out the more non-direct feed images here, including a comparison between the original PS2 version and the remastered version.
