Bandai Namco launched the opening movie for .hack//G.U. Last Recode Vol. 3//Redemption, which is apart of the upcoming .hack//G.U. Last Recode, coming to PlayStation 4 and PC on November 1 in Japan, and November 3 in North America and Europe.

The opening movie shows improvements when compared to the PlayStation 2 release of the game, which many fans probably haven't had the liberty to play due to its high price. This might be due to the trilogy releasing so close to each other and in limited quantities in the west.

.hack//G.U. Vol. 1//Rebirth was originally released in Japan in May 2006, with Vol. 2//Reminisce following just a few months later in September, and Vol. 3//Redemption coming shortly after in January 2007. All were developed by CyberConnect2 who is also taking care of this remaster under Bandai Namco’s wing.
