The previous episode of Halo gave us what we were waiting for since the first episode, John's meeting with Makee. The Blessed one told John that she isn't that different from him, and she can also access the powers of the artifact. Miranda got the rights to to experiment on the artifact after Halsey is removed from her position. So, John asks Miranda to take him to the lab so he can finally understand his connection with the artifact. Immediately after John touches the artifact, Makee gets a seizure, and finally, John and Makee finds their consciousness in a strange world.
It's for sure that there's a mysterious connection between Makee and John, and we might get some answers in the seventh episode of the series.

The official preview for episode 7 confirms that the next installment Halo will shift the focus from Master Chief to Kwan Ha. In the preview, we can see that Kwan Ha is having a difficult time gathering people for her cause. Vinsher Grath will learn about the rebel from the Madrigal, and he will announce a bounty on her head.
