Halo Infinite Co-op Campaign Beta Flight Arrives on July 11

Ten days of testing for co-op campaign and Mission Replay.

June 30, 2022

It’s time to give the Halo Infinite campaign in co-op mode, but only for a limited time! The beta test begins in less than two weeks, allowing you to team up with friends for a fresh start.

343 Industries shared a new blog post today, revealing the official release date for the first beta testing of Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign mode. The test period will be available from July 11 until July 22 for 10 days. In order to participate in the beta testing, you need to either own Halo Infinite or have an active subscription to Xbox or PC Game Pass.

Keep in mind that the beta testing will require you to download a separate version of Halo Infinite, which features the co-op mode in the campaign. According to the developers, your progress from the main game will not be available in the test build, which means you need to start from scratch.

According to 343 Industries, the full campaign experience will be available in co-op mode during the beta testing, but you won’t be able to earn any achievements or transfer your progress to the original game after the testing session ends.

The co-op mode will allow all participants to play the campaign in a team of 4 players. It’s yet to be seen how the game’s difficulty level and the number of enemies will change in the co-op mode, but this should probably be one of the areas that 343 Industries needs player feedback for.

In addition to testing the co-op mode, beta participants will get to benefit from the Mission Replay feature as well. This will allow you to replay the missions you have already finished with no need to start a new playthrough.

Currently, there is no release date for the co-op campaign or Mission Replay. However, we do know that they are both slated to launch by the end of this year along with the Forge mode.

In order to participate in the upcoming beta testing for the Halo Infinite co-op campaign, you need to sing-up for Xbox Insider Program. If you are planning to play the beta through Steam, you have to sign up before July 5.
