Halo Infinite Steam and PC players, here's how you can fix the game's crashing issue and play with your friends.

Bungie, I mean 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios, just surprise launched the multiplayer beta for Halo Infinite on November 15, throwing into chaos hundreds of game journalists around the world. Though several fans did highly expect this launch to happen due to data mined details.

Obviously, this is still a Beta Test, so while we can have fun on the Infinite multiplayer right now, it's also important to report any bug you find to help the developers.

And we are bound to encounter these bugs and issues. In particular, many players on Steam straight up can't launch the game as it crashes on startup.

How to fix Halo Infinite crashing on startup on PC

First, open Steam and open your library. Search for Halo Infinite in your games list, and right-click it. Select properties, and go to the local files menu. Lastly, click "Verify Integrity of Game Files...". This can take over 10 minutes but should fix your issue.

If this doesn't work, the other usual fix you can try is updating your graphic card's drivers. Go to the settings of your NVidia GeForce / AMD Radeon control panel and check if you have the latest drivers. Usually, NVidia GeForce Experience or Radeon Software Settings is always open and you can find it in the additional things of your windows toolbar alongside wi-fi, sound volume, etc.

If checking for corrupted files and updating your drivers still doesn't do the trick, sadly you'll probably have to wait for the Beta to get patched. I'd expect some patch in the next few days to fix some of the biggest bugs players have encountered so far.

Halo Infinite, the full game will launch on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/s on this still doesn't solve your problem, the best way
