As one of the biggest games on the horizon for Microsoft, Halo Infinite is not only the long-anticipated return to the world of Halo that fans have been waiting for, but also one of the biggest titles that is (presumably) launching for the Xbox Series X this holiday season. We finally got our first look at how the game plays during the Xbox Games Showcase, and while the online reaction to the gameplay has been mixed, 343 Industries seems to have nailed trying to bring the series back to its Combat Evolved roots. While those with a PlayStation console won't be able to play Infinite for themselves, one crafty Dreams player is bringing the experience over in a small way.

Following the gameplay reveal for Halo Infinite last week, a new Dreams creation has made its way online by DISARMEDPost on Reddit that (somewhat) brings Halo to the PS4. As you can see from the video below, the project itself is a recreation of a segment from the gameplay demo for Halo Infinite built entirely inside Dreams, and it's an impressive work in its own right. You can take a look at the video here:

Overall, DISARMEDPost's Dreams' project is a really impressive recreation that nails the style and vibe of Halo almost perfectly, from its impressive level design and forests, to making an almost exact replica of Master Chief's Assault Rifle. The fact that the Dreams recreation looks nearly on par with the gameplay footage that we saw of Infinite itself speaks to the ways that Dreams can make some truly incredible projects come to life. While it's pretty much guaranteed that we'll never get Halo Infinite on a PS4 or PS5, this at least seems like the next best thing.

Halo Infinite will be coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC this holiday season, while Dreams is available now on PS4.
