Even though Halo Infinite's latest trailer that appeared earlier this summer at E3 didn't show off any gameplay, it did apparently contain one secret that was only just now discovered. As first spotted by Twitter user Xeypal, the E3 2019 trailer for Halo Infinite contained a QR code that could only briefly be seen for a moment during Master Chief's boot-up sequence in the video. The QR code, when stitched together, then led to an audio recording that features the voice of Cortana. The audio is only 40 seconds long in total, but Cortana can be heard saying, "This...this is part of me. I don't know why, I don't know how, but it is me."

As confirmed by one of the community leads at 343 Industries, user Xeypal was seemingly the first person to find this secret in the trailer. But just what the message from Cortana means, well, it's hard to say. As of this writing, story details on Halo Infinite are sparse at best. We know that the game will take place after the events of Halo 5, but what the actual plot of the game deals with has yet to be talked about specifically.

Clearly though, 343 Industries is trying to drop some hints with this audio message. Halo 5 notably had a popular ARG that took place before that game's launch. Maybe this means that 343 has more plans to do a similar thing here with Infinite as well leading up to release. We'll surely find out more in time.

Hopefully, passionate Halo Infinite fans will begin to find more secrets like this (assuming there are more to be found) as time goes on. As of now, all we know is that Halo Infinite will be launching in late 2020 for Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Scarlett.
