Much as rumors earlier in the day indicated, Microsoft confirmed today at X019 that Halo Reach is finally joining The Master Chief Collection in just a few short weeks.

Halo Reach will be added to The Master Chief Collection on December 3 for Xbox One. In addition, Reach will also begin the launch of MCC on PC, meaning it'll also finally signal the start of the collection's arrival on the platform. Additional Halo titles will then be added to The Master Chief Collection on PC over the course of 2020, concluding with Halo 4.

In addition to announcing the launch date for Halo Reach today, Microsoft also released a new trailer for the title showing it off in glorious 4K. As someone who absolutely loves Reach, I am so glad to see the game looking this visually impressive. Even though we're in a busy holiday season for releases, I will absolutely be hopping back into this game next month.
