Halo: Reach Purchasable Early? **UPDATED**

August 16, 2010

Hey all you Halo fans! Feel like dropping 99,999 Microsoft points on Halo: Reach (or, approximately $1248.75)? Apparently you can do so now. At the time of this writing, it appears to be available on the Xbox Live Marketplace for that price. Who wants to add that many points and try it out? No one? Halo fanboys? C’mon, you know you want to!

Here’s a link to the game, which may or may not work when you read this, because this is likely a mistake. Either that, or someone at Microsoft is sitting around laughing at all the people checking it out and trying to figure out how to get their hands on it.

**UPDATE**: So it turns out that Microsoft will not be offering Halo: Reach as a downloadable title on the Xbox Live Marketplace anytime soon. In fact this is simply the gateway through which the press will be gaining access to review the game.
