Today Entergram announced that the visual novel Hanasaki Work Spring! is getting a PS4 release in Japan in November.
To be more precise, the game will launch on the shelves of the rising sun on November 22nd, 2018. This follows the original 18+ release on PC in 2015 and the all-ages port for PS Vita in 2017. Of course the PS4 version will be a port of the latter.
It will cost 5,980 yen plus taxes in a physical retail edition, 4,980 yen in digital version, and 7,980 yen plus taxes for the limited edition that will include a B2-sized tapestry.
The story is about the usual completely normal high school student who gets invited to the “ghost club” in his high school and then gets made the leader all of a sudden. Of course, the club is full of cute girls. The game features cutesy artwork by Kanao Hontani.
If you’re wondering, there is no western release announced for now. The game was never localized in its previous platforms, and we’ll have to wait and see whether the PS4 release will tempt any publisher to release this in the west. My money would be on “no,” but I’m not a betting man.
