Harmonix Online Survey Hints at the Return of Rock Band

Though the series has remained quiet for several years and with the final installments of its weekly DLC ending in April 2013, developer Harmonix seems to have a revival in mind for its (at one time) massively popular music series, Rock Band.

A short online survey was recently released by Harmonix regarding the Rock Band series with just five questions, aimed mostly at topics like finding out how often users play Rock Band titles, how many (functional) instruments that users still owned, and the final question being which prospects that users would find most exciting for future Rock Band titles.

Included among the options in the final question would be a new Rock Band title on current-gen systems (Xbox One, PS4, Wii U), a new title on “legacy systems” (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii), or other brief options like new instruments for the legacy editions of the game, and a sale on the current games’ DLC content.

Stay tuned for more updates on the prospects of a new Rock Band from Harmonix, or any of the other survey options.
