Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Brings Players Back to the Wizarding World in First Trailer
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery debuted its first trailer for the upcoming mobile RPG, showing classes, professors, and more from the beloved books.
For decades the Wizarding World seen in the Harry Potter books, movies, and other forms of media have captivated audiences with its blend of whimsy, creativity, and danger, with the upcoming mobile RPG Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery set to bring players even deeper into its world.
The first teaser trailer for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery was released, with the upcoming mobile title to provide a new RPG-style adventure that is set in Hogwarts in the late 1980s, prior to the events of the novels.
Specifically, the game is set to “feature many of your favorite things from the Harry Potter series” according to the game’s description on YouTube, including spells, classes, and various characters from the books and films such as Hagrid, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, and more.
Overall, the trailer emphasizes that players will be able to craft their own stories throughout Hogwarts Mystery, such as attending classes, learning new spells and abilities, and playing (and battling) alongside friends. Given the Hogwarts setting, it will be interesting to see how the game incorporates social aspects unique to the world of Harry Potter, for sure.
Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will arrive for mobile devices later in 2018 – in the meantime, you can check out the game’s first teaser trailer below:
