Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Launches on PC Next Month Ahead of Console Versions
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be available to PC players months before the early 2018 console release.
Natsume announced that Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will launch on PC-via Steam on November 14, the PlayStation 4 and Switch version to launch in early 2018.
This will be the first time the Harvest Moon brand will be available on PC, which is surprising considering the series’ audience.
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope puts players in a new setting of a small harbor town that has been left in shambles after a storm. It’s up to the play to help the citizens rebuild the town and the lighthouse. Along the way players will be able to grow crops, tend to livestock, and gather material for crafting items. Other features include starting a family and making new friends.
“Due to the hard work of our team, development for Harvest Moon: Light of Hope for PC ran ahead of schedule, allowing us to release the game early to PC players,” said Hiro Maekawa, President & CEO of Natsume. “We have enjoyed creating an all-new game that honors 20 years of Harvest Moon, and what’s more, the franchise will finally be available for the first time on PC, something fans have long asked for!”
New features in Harvest Moon: Light of Hope allows players to repair structures around town which will unlock new shops, characters, farming tools, and farming land.
